Flesh

Kittens are supposed to be cute, cuddly, and basically all around adorable. Look up kitten in the dictionary and it will tell you they are a fluff ball full of love. Sometimes they are rambunctious, and scratches are inevitable; its basic kitten 101.  Not even kitten 304 could have prepared the Helfrich household for the newest addition to our barnyard family.
This creature has been a problem baby from the start. Welcoming a healthy kitten to our home would have been far too easy; my mother had to take a little fluff ball under her wing that needed a blood transfusion and had a low chance of living. The sex of the kitten is also unknown. Princess Aurora was the little rats first name... until we decided that it looked more like a boy. Now mother named it Leech. Yes, leech as in the blood sucking insect/ animal thing that is common in swamps. Its common to hear someone yelling out " LEECHY!!!!!" in pain in our house.

Flesh is Leechy's drug of choice, the addiction only
seems to intensify as he grows. He latches on and doesn't let go until he is sure he had made his victim feel pain. His claws are magnetic to legs and his Bite is unpredictable. Nothing is off limits for Leechy to destroy. Unfortunately he loves my cheeks and lips. My legs look like they have gone through a shredder.  Worst of all Leechy has to live in my room and is forced to sleep with me. 6 am is when the battle begins. His strong vocal cords start belting out loud meows and demands to be let out... if his demands aren't met he will simply continue on and and on and on and on, or use me as a scratching post.

Hating this little Leech would be so easy... but he is a kitten and therefore just too gosh darn cute to despise!!!!!
