Problem.  Okay  I have been known to freak out for crazy reasons in the past.  Finding a new bruise obviously means I have leukemia. If I nick myself in the shower… I’m going to bleed out. Its possible I threw a fit because freaking Indiana has a serious lack of Sonics. If I am out in the cold for more than 15 minutes I KNOW frostbite is soon approaching. But this time I have a serious problem I swear!
I’ll cut to the chase, I think I may have lost my inner child!!!

Ex 1) Disney World is supposed to be the happiest place on earth right? Every little kids dream full of cotton candy and Disney princesses.  Right? Wrong! I hated that place. The thought of setting foot on Disney grounds makes me vomit a little in my mouth.

Ex 2) I went to the circus…. It freaked me out.  The clowns weren’t funny they were stupid… and slightly annoying.  Creepy music played while a gremlin like, bald dude , slowly stared the audience down. I know that dude will show up in my nightmares.  Sure, the acts were coo, filled with freaky talented Chinese prodigy children, but the wonder and amazement of the circus just wasn’t there for me.
Ex3) I CAN’T SLEEP IN ANYMORE! This is very alarming … I could sleep in until 11 easily if I wanted to before. Now, at 7:30 I am up and ready to take on the world, whether I want to go back to bed or not. My body simpley wont let me drift swiftly back into dreamland.
Ex4) I have no desire to go to seaworld/waterparks this Sunday. Do you people realize that those places are just one big germ pool???? Apparently not…
Ex5) Instead of craving Lucky Charms and other sugar cereal that is sure to rot teeth out and cause millions of cavities I crave oatmeal. More Fiber means More fun!

Hopefully my inner child is just on vacation???

Amuuurica

Picnic blankets, sparklers, the smell of hamburgers and hotdogs lazily drifting off of the grill, cute chubbie little babies sporting red, white, and blue, bows, thats all I want from the 4th of July. Simple and classic no worries and no fuss. Apparently at hell-camp that is too much to ask. Each year hell-camps around the United States decide to torture ballerinas while celebrating Amuuurica's independence. Disney World was this year's Torture Chamber. Before this trip I was a Disney virgin, after this experience i'd rather eat live worms than set a foot on Disney soil.
We started out the day going strong at 10:00 am, full of bring smiling young faces happy and ready to get in touch with our inner child. Yeah, these smiling faces you see in this picture didn't last very long. We spent the entire day running from ride to ride and getting separated from each other.  Running really isn't my thing I am not a track star, I'm ballerina. Blisters immediately started to form on my heels and the thought of getting separated and lost in this huge amusement park stressed me out.

92 degrees read the temperature, but on the black concrete in the park my friend's iphone said it was 108. We were all hot, sweaty, and disgusting the entire time. Everyone in freaking America decided to go to Disney on the 4th as well; waiting in lines for rides was ridiculous. All those hot sweaty bodies in small confined spaced rubbing up against me was just great...
By 8:00 pm we we're all ready to kill each other. There isn't anything scarier than a bunch of hungry ballerinas who can't find food. 9:00 pm the famous disney fireworks are supposed to start, everyone in the world has showed up to watch these puppies, Magic kingdom is packed tight like rats. How did the RA's really expect to find anyone? 9:15..... The freaking fireworks only lasted 15 minutes... I repeated the freaking fireworks only lasted 15 minutes.
Here is where the real problem starts. The entire park rushed to the mono rail to get home at the same time. Long story short we had to wait in line with 3000 other people to get back to the bus. 130 ballerinas are lose, running around disney world, expected to somehow find each other and board the bus at 10:00. At 10:10 I finally make it to the bus and have never been so happy in my life. PROBLEM: OUR FREAKING RA'S HAVE NOT MADE IT BACK BECAUSE THEY ARE IRRESPONSIBLE SO WE CAN'T GET ON THE BUS. 10:35 the moron RA's decide to show their faces. We load the bus and wait. and wait. and wait. and wait. Turns out we lost a kid in disney world. after much more waiting we decide to leave him muhahahahah  ( don't worry someone stayed back to take him back on a taxi once he decided to be found which was 3 hrs later)
12:00 I arrive back at Hell Camp take a shower and get ready to wake up 7:00 and start my day.
..... Happy 4th of july y'all....

Hell-camp, I mean Summer dance Intensive

Week one of hell camp summary: Day one- I was told to get my eyes out of the mirror and dance from my heart. Little do these people know I am heartless and have no emotions like a robot. Seriously, call me the modern day tin man. It's a problem and hopefully I can correct it, but how can I dance from my heart if my heart doesn't want to dance?

Russians have a way of finding me wherever I go it seems, and this program has 2 crazy intense ones. They pride themselves on their "Russian Torture" methods. I swear they said that. Have you ever been stretched by a Russian? Well, let me tell you it is one terrifying experience. If your body isn't in the right place they wont hesitate to smack you back into shape. Luckily, so far only my tushy has had the beating ( I mean, I do have a pretty irresistible bottom I think the russian just couldn't resist lol)

I have learned to keep trying until I shake, because that is how strength is built. Who knew life lessons where in ballet class as well as country western songs?

There are also telltale signs to know your at dance camp:
1) you know your at dance camp when you fall asleep by 10:30 happily everynight
2) you know your at dance camp when gay guys have a fiercer strut than the girls
3) you know your at dance camp when your at the pool and most girls have 6 packs
4) you know your at dance camp when people think its normal to do ballet steps while in the pool
5) you know your at dance camp when each morning you wake up wondering if your are going to make it out of bed
6) you know your at dance camp when the highlight of the week is watching So You Think You Can Dance

7) more to come
