Ohhhh Butler, honestly I didn't think i would miss you this much. At first I hated you, then I wanted to transfer, now I want to change majors, but most of all i want to return to campus. Who knew living in dorm full of girls would fiddle a spot into my heart like this? not me. Life is very boring when there is noone to creep into your room, or stalk you into the bathroom. I am so thankful for my dysfunctional butler family and can't wait to see how it grows.
I survived my first semester of college... and I think I am slowly turning into a yankee!!! yikes. Now and then i catch my self saying " you guys" in my head instead of y'all. Every once in a while the term " pop" almost slips through my lips when speaking of a soft drink. Coke is the obvious correct term for these caffeinated drinks. 50 degrees is no longer cold to me, but i still long for summer. Hopefully this time spent in Texas will have corrected this problem.
Thanks to Butler I now know how to sled, dougie, what tapioca pudding tastes like, what standard deviation means, that blinking lights while driving are normal, the bumps on the side of the road are not there to provide more traction to motor cycles, its possible to get a person from campus to on a plane in a little less than 1 hour, there are different types of handles... not just the ones on bicycle and much much more.
I can't wait to see what 2nd semester will bring.
