People always compare life to a book. Going to college meant I was " starting a new chapter in my life". Optimistic people tend to believe they are writing their destiny. Pessimists caution us to have a hard spine for life throws us many challenges. Okay so here is my question: If life is like a book then why aren't the answers in the back???
We are taught from a very young age that all we have to do is take a glance at the back of our school books and the right answer or a clue will magically appear. Our teachers screwed us over!!! I am not saying I want to cheat my way through life, but some reassurance that I am on the right track would be nice.
Someone might counter if the book of life was full of answers we would never learn. I disagree. I made it out of high school full of knowledge. The quadratic equation is burned into my head, I can recite when columbus sailed the ocean blue, and can I produce a pretty mean power point.
